So much of yesterday at work was very frusterating. I mostly tried to do things on Past Perfect, and got error messages, and wrote down said messages, and waited for my boss to get out of meetings so she could call the Past Perfect people. I'm not allowed because she wants to know everything there is about Past Perfect errors on our machines. Our computers were made by volenteers out of old parts so they're far from standard. My boss, Sue, promises that next week will involve far less Past Perfect and far more cleaning and making labels in preparation for the Rice County fair.

The concert was wonderful. It was in ths open arena that faces a lake and from our seats we could watch a lot of trees swaying in the wind. The opening acts weren't great but they weren't objectionable either. The Guster came on and played an hour long set and half an hour of encore. No parachute(one of their ballads), which was disaapointing, but they reached some amazing emotional points with their songs that I never dreamed would go in those directions. It was wonderful to hear them extend their songs. It makes me want to go back and relisten to my CDs, but there's something that will be missing from the "processed" songs now. The drummer was also very enjoyable to watch. He's got a sort of bashful-nerd-all-grown-up manner. When he left the stage, he did little shaky hand waves. Hehe.

I spent this morning sorting through articles with Lance(the Ed Studies prof that employs me). The combination of his airyness and need for "systems" amuses me.
