Sep. 22nd, 2003 05:11 pmSo much stuff to do. Forms to find, books to read, food to make, papers to work on, relatives and Veblen biographers to call. I just decided not to do Sci-Fi book club this term because I don't think I can deal with an extra ten pages a week with a hard due date. I don't think my friends are going to see much of me this term, just a head ducking into the library. This term, must learn the fine art of thinking ahead far enough so I do stuff on time, but also not thinking too far in the future, because then I might go crrraaayzzzee.
I just have Jamie Monson, a history prof I haven't had, ask if I was a medievalist. Why do people always think I'm a medievalist? People on the Czech Republic trip always thought I knew stuff about medieval Europe even after I told them several times that I'd only taken one class in medieval "stuff", and that was Byzantium.
Brain too querelous(sp?). Stop, brain, stop.
