(no subject)

I went to target this morning to get a humidifier. It's kind of cool: I didn't even know what a humidifier was until yesterday (aside from the obvious "it produces humidity") and now I know how to work one. I set it up and put it on and now my room smells vaguely medicinal. Hopefully it's a step in the right direction to not waking up in the morning with slight throat colds.

I've sort of been slacking off on comps ever since turning in my draft, but it's time to get cracking again: I have about four different parts of my comps to write/finish and a complete rough draft is due Friday. I've been distracted by good A.S. Byatt books, first by finishing A Whisting Woman, and then by Possession, which I'm rereading. Such a beautiful, intricate, fanciful book! There are all of these details and turns of prose that I'm only picking up on my second time around
