Jun. 11th, 2004 05:44 pmTomorrow I graduate. I have to be up at 7:30 AM! It seems unreal--the unreality applies to both the graduation and the wake up time.
duckie just summed up my worst feelings about senior week and graduation in a post. Minus the problematics of dealing with my divorced parental units, which haven't been too bad. I toted all of them around to the departmental reception. It was strange. I know I'm a student profs like to have in class--I don't need to be told or receive compliments about it. But my parents need/want to be told. It's affirmation that they've done their job as parents, but for me it's all very awkward and contrived.
I shouldn't have internet access for at least a week after I graduate. But, eh, I'm probably sufficiently addicted to this particular form of communication that posts shouldn't stop appearing.
