Jul. 8th, 2004 07:13 pmI just signed up online with the Kerry campaign as a volenteer. The Kerry site itself is very unsatisfying (not a bad metaphor for how unsatisfying the Kerry campaign and even the Democratic Party are right now). Even after signing up as a volenteer it encouraged me in two possibilities: give money or host a house party for Kerry supporters. Yesterday I visited to a radical bookstore and, I've got to say, the Kerry campaign would do well to take some cues from the liberal left.
At said bookstore, I bought a pin that says "War is Terrorism." It makes me absurdly happy every time I look at it: the perfect reminder that a War on Terror is an oxymoron.
