OK, well, I'm writing this from my local internet cafe, where the keyboard is annoyingly flat and spread out. It's a "Virtually Indestructable Keyboad", but apparently it is indestructable at the expense of destroying the hands of the people who type on it. My attempt at playing with the digital photography editing equipment caused my computer to have myraid problems and I spent about six hours last night on and off the phone with Indian guys at Dell's tech help. I ultimately had to reinstall Windows and reformat and all sorts of other stuff. Now I can't use the internet because I don't have that installation CD. The installation CD belongs to the lovely people at Time Warner, who kept me on hold for 45 minutes this morning. Ugh. I'm so dependent on the internet for everything. In any case, posting those digital photographs is probably going to be postponed indefinitely.

Other random stuff- I'm drinking the internet cafe's lavender tea. It's sort of like Earl Grey but without the extreme tannic taste and a plum-like smell. I watched a good movie this morning, "Who am I this time", with Christopher Walken and Susan Sarandon as actors who are introverted everywhere except the stage. It was sweet. Tomorrow, instead of trick or treating, I'm going door to door doing last minute campaigning for Kerry. Maybe they'll give us candy.
