I GOT THE JOB!
......I got the news yesterday morning. Anyway, I'm very excited and very happy. I had to give the temp job five days notice, and the new place wanted me to start ASAP, so I'll work my last day at the temp job on Wednesday and start on Thursday. It feels really wonderful to have permanent employment at long last, with opportunity for longevity and advancement at an organization I really want to work for and in a position that I think will make good use of my talents.
I'll probably post more about the specifics of the job in a friends-only post at some point.
