I like your ideas. I remember reading an excerpt from "Help! Mom!.." in Harper's. Although, given the title and conservative versus liberal attitudes towards sexuality, I really suspect it ought to be "Help! Mom! The religious right is under my bed!" But then we could squish them, squish them like the little bedbugs they are while bouncing on the bed.
