Some purchases I've made recently that make me happy:
-A love songs of Motown CD that I'm listening to right now... "This Old Heart of Mine" is one of the songs that will almost always make me start dancing along.
-The blue bean bag that now lives in the spot behind the door to my room. It's comfy. I can set a cup of tea within reach and it won't fall over. My legs can sprawl out. And I don't get distracted by the books in the library or the TV in the lounge.
-Free Enterprise. It's a video that I ordered online for a little less than $5 including shipping and handling after watching the ending, which features William Shatner rapping Julius Caesar, on the Sci-Fi Channel. It has some very amusing bits, although I didn't exactly latch on emotionally, so I've given it to the Sci-Fi library. The plot- if it can be said to have a plot- is about two male trekkies who have women problems. Then they meet William Shatner, and realize he's not as suave or heroic as they thought he was.
This weekend was pretty good. I did a lot of that tried and true practice of procrastinating (against a large thing) by doing (smaller units of) homework
