I'm still not certain how everything fits together thematically. I find myself inclined to cut something out, and then I realize I don't know what my thesis is yet, so I might as well keep it in and remove it later if it doesn't fit whatever my eventual thesis will be. At the moment, I'm just writing whatever I can, and it's not always in coherent paragraphs. I'll go back and edit and move things around later. I don't know if I'll be able to have a coherent 25 pages by Friday. In fact, if I don't make enough progress by Sunday night, I'm emailing Serena Zabin and saying that it will be literally impossible for me to finish by the deadline.
