I'm listening to an Eva Cassidy CD that just came out posthumously. She died a few years ago, but they're still releasing CDs of her recordings. She's talking about wanting to lay down and it resonates so much. The thing about this term, these last few weeks and especially these last few days, is that I've spent so much time working on my comps and yet I've made such little progress. I'm not turning in my 25 pages on Friday: I have Serena Zabin's support to turn it in on Tuesday. I had 7 pages, and then I wrote more, and then I went in to talk to Serena Zabin and had to cut some, and now I have 12 pages with some nice footnotes. The weekend is going to be a big writing weekend.
