Mar. 8th, 2004 03:21 pmI just had my last real class of the term. Yay! Between comps and stats, this has been one of the most frustrating academic terms I've had in a while.
This (sort of) after-comps period is confusing. I'm free and should be celebrating and doing leisure reading- but I also have my stats project and stats final and my defense and other peoples' defenses to go to. I've alternated between being groggy and tired and wantinging to curl up in bed and being chipper and hyper-alert. Everything seems very poorly and sporatically timed: group appointments, classes, due dates. My final, worth 30% of my grade, is non-negotiably at 8:30 in the morning on Saturday. I haven't done anything starting at 8:30 in the morning for a very, very long time except for wake up.
I hope vacation provides some sort of recuperation period. I'd ideally want to get off of campus somehow, but not going home and having to deal with my mother and Marin county is a larger priority
