General update

Hmm. Well, the process of getting settled continues. I was under orders, or rather strong suggestion, to take today off to relax and get more settled. All of my books are unpacked and on shelves, but I still have enough things in suitcases to make navigating my rather small/cozy room difficult. I caught up with Kira and Seth on Friday. We watched Mary Poppins. It's such a good happy movie. Young Dick Van Dyke is wonderful, especially in combination with animated farm yard animals and penguins. I'm going to have a flourishing social life, by my standards, for at least the next week and a half because I'll be meeting with all of my connections in the DC area.
