Venting from work

Since getting back from MN, there's been a spring in my step and an ease in my back. It was a very relaxing vacation. I got into the office and found out that person who was supposed to inherit responsibility for organizing the orientation that is going on starting MONDAY from me decided at the last minute not to return from vacation until Monday. So I had to cobble together information from a lot of people who weren't in the office about who would even be going to the orientation, and then get into high planning gear. It turns out that my boss and the MN office thought that we had planned this for next month, not this one. What's been different about the whole thing: rather than stressing about it, I've been pretty amused at the whole thing.

In other news, I have confirmation for job interview on Wednesday! Excellent.
