Jan. 7th, 2006 07:52 amI'd say it was one of those weeks when I've ended up taking on an absurd amount of responsibility because there was no one else available or willing to do so.
But no, it's been two days when I've ended up taking on an absurd amount of responsibility because there was no one else available or willing to do so. Luckily, our Executive Director was appreciative of the job I did in coordinating the orientation, creating the orientation handbooks, and running the orientation prep meeting and the fact that I volunteered to take care of one of the orientation participants at the last minute should that become necessary.
I'm still feeling pretty good in the aftermath of my Minnesota trip. My projects this weekend are to prepare for my interview with this organization, including getting my suit altered for my interview, looking over some leads I've gotten on my job search, starting two more job applications, and taking care of the needs of one of the orientation participants should she need my help at the last minute.
