So I'm on the Christian Coalition's email list. I started getting emails from them after I emailed asking for their mission statement for a high school project. Their emails are sort of amusing, and sort of scary. This counts as scary.
Christian Coalition of America encourages all their supporters and Christians around the country to take their family, friends and church members to see the movie, "The Passion". Several of our staff members have already had the honor to see this wonderful film about the last 12 hours of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ.
Roberta Combs, President of Christian Coalition says, "I want to thank Mel Gibson for having the courage to produce such an inspirational film on such an important piece of history in our civilization. Mr. Gibson should be commended for taking the time and sacrifice to make certain that every detail was well produced with grace, dignity and integrity."
Many of our Church Liaisons throughout the United States have reported to us that their churches have bought advanced tickets and many churches across the country have rented the entire theatre for the opening night.
ACTION ITEMS:
1- We encourage everyone to go and view this film with their family, friends and church members. We suggest to parents of younger children to go and view the film first and then decide if your child is mature enough to understand some of the violence.
2- Everyone should pray for this film that it would reach and touch people's lives. This film will and can be used as a wonderful teaching tool to show the love and sacrifice of what "Our Savior" endured for us.
3- Please pray for the critics of the film that they will understand this film and not discourage Christians to not view the film.
We would love to hear back from our supporters on how this film has changed your life. Please email or call us at the numbers listed below. May God richly bless you and your family this week.
