So I called up the DFL people, who turned out to be Grassroots Campaign, at 11 this morning. They had a group interview, followed by individual interviews, scheduled for 7 tonight. So I went, and lo and behold, by 7:45 I had an observational day--a free day of my labor, after which they will hire or reject me--scheduled for Thursday. I imagine that since my interviewer wanted me for his team and promised that I'd be promoted, that's going to be a hire.
I will observe, since I very rarely do this sort of thing and can hardly be accused of being a brazen hussy, that all three of the guys I saw at the headquarters were exceedingly goodlooking to my eye. The good thing about the job world, as opposed to to school, is that your leisure time is really leisure time and not time that you could spend working. This could be fun...
